This weeks blog is about Twitter, another window to the world. Twitter is an on-line social networking service that allows users to tweet. With twitter you can post "tweets" which are words, videos', pictures, and links to other information. You can follow people you are interested in, as well as have followers (people who follow you).
As an educator and library science student, I want to have as many opportunities to expand my professional knowledge base. Since I created a Twitter account I could not think of a better way to get started than by following some of the biggest names in education technology and library media specialists. Take a look at what they are posting:

Definitely a window on the world! Good way to look at it. I enjoy Twitter because it can be customized to things I'm interested in, and is so wide-ranging! I remember when it first came out, you could see in a world map where the Tweets were coming from. I doubt that would be as interesting today just because of the enormous amount of Tweets~
